the first 2 movies have an extremely similar style to the original anime and pretty much look exactly like how it would if it had a budget and was made in the late 2000's. Hell, most figures of Asuka depicting her appearance in 2.0 look just like Soryu save for some having color alterations like picrel
3.0 is when the style shifted
