That actually reminded me that I'd picked up some AK 3rd Gen (AFV line) to test with Vallejo airbrush thinner since the last time all this came up people said it turned gloopy. I'll run it through the airbrush later, but I just mixed some up in a bottle cap to handbrush on a test piece, thinned about 50%. Not gloopy, not stringy, flows smoothly and has pretty good one-coat coverage for being 50% thinned. It behaved exactly as expected with Vallejo airbrush thinner. I suppose it's possible the airbrush later might reveal weird stuff, we'll see, but there's nothing here to indicate any deviant behaviour so I expect it to be just fine.
