Revoltechs were in their infancy, so it was a bunch of cut joints that replicated ball joints but worse. Actual revoltech joints were sparse.
Microman shit was some of the worst sculpts ever with a reuse of the same body worse than Mattel. They DREW armor panels instead of sculpting htem in with a black sharpy.
Figuarts and their precusors were laughably bad.
Figmas weren't around yet and by the end of KB's life, it was mostly pedoshit.
Despite all these negatives, at least Japanese properties were finally getting super articulated toys, instead of just statueshit.
