>>8194540>Would you ever consider sharing instructions for EcoTron builds so that people could remake them and enjoy them in their collection?>Honestly, I'd very much want to build your two builds and have them as part of the Space stuff I collect.>>8200737>Also, if Ecotron Anon is here would you mind posting some sort of theme guide on your stuff?Sure thing anons, glad to see people are enjoying this!
Breakdown should be pretty self-explanatory. The main aesthetic of the theme is the juxtaposition of the delicate Earth-born plant being separated from the naked vacuum of deep space by nothing more than a single trans-clear element, so the glass for the plant should always be on the outside of the build. Plants are the energy source, so the size of the plant scales to the vehicle (or base). A ship the size of the Ice Planet flagship would have two or three trees jutting out of it.
The other main aesthetic detail is sharp, blocky angles interspersed with at least one curved or rounded area. Use of curved white elements like those used in Paradisa sets is highly encouraged.
For colors, I imagined that when they first set out from the ruins of their destroyed homeworld, their vessels were all gleaming white and glass, but since then the white has been scuffed up, which is why the light grey and dark grey pieces are generally on the areas that would see a lot of wear. I would switch the white taps out for grey ones if I was going to redo the Oxy-Trekker. Ideally the glass holding the plant would be rounded domes, not greenhouse-style flat panels.
Since they're former pacifist scientists who suddenly found themselves a race of frontiersmen, I tried to invoke the idea of carrying bulk supplies, Old West wagon-train style.
