>>6802376nigga, primes are best suited for cinema. primes can come at almost any focal length, they're just a fixed lens focal length, they don't necessarily help you avoid distortion. if you want to do macro shots with toys and avoid distortion (fish eye look/curvature to subject) just use 35mm and above.
like others are saying, camera phone is fine, just use good lighting, it's what i do. if you wanna do more professional photography, invest in a canon rebel t2i or t3i, they're good beginner dslrs. they come with a standard zoom 35mm lens. don't invest in a bunch of lenses or cameras unless you've got sizable income or enough cash to blow on a hobby
