An "ultimate" Star Wars playset would be an all plasted sculpted version of the Palitoy Death Star. I can't fault that thing for being made of cardboard, and it was actually a pretty good design choice during a petroleum shortage. It would be better in plastic, but regardless the original is one of the all time great examples of what a playset can be, even with the materials it was limited by.
