New build, Trumpy's 1/700 HMS Belfast a'la 1953, another one for the "ships I've been on board" collection.
Man did I have to wait for this one, when did they first announce it, 2017 or some such? (And at that time I had already been moping about missing the resin one that sued to exist for some time.) Then when the 1942 one first showed up I wanted some more for this variant (partially to better match her current configuration, partially because giving some thought to the wartime camo scheme and nope, not if an option is around the corner), then a little bit longer to see if some deck masks would turn up (nope) and then finally I took my sweet time clearing the bench for it...
So far mostly dry-fit, considerable painting will have to happen before most of it gets glued together. The main battery turrets feel really tiny, after the various battleships I've built. (A massive surprise to everyone I'm sure.)
