>>8951427That makes more sense. The rest of the colors are bright and then bam, you've got the dark purple. I've noticed a strange, off-putting color scheme in a lot of media that I call "dark neon". Bright colors not fully given the chance to shine without some depressing muted shade. Now I realize WHY it feels so off. It's like they're too insecure to commit to a purely happy aesthetic. Compare that Friends set to this. All light pastels. It looks more uniform and cheery. More genuine. Sorry, didn't mean to turn this into a rant on the current depressed state of culture, but just an observation.
