Nevermind that ALL the cars based on real life cars were considered "high tech vehicles." So the 2004 Batman vehicles only look "high tech" to you because they were based on modern vehicles. Stuff like that Neal Adams corvette and Jason Todd Lambo look "boring" because they're outdated to your zoomer self, despite being futuristic back in the day.
Nevermind they have to change shit around to not be get fucked by lawsuits, so what they're based on isn't always apparent. Lots of "plain" looking black cars every single decade with a detail or two changed to make it look Batman-y, just like the upcoming movie.
