While we're on the subject of joint replacement: if you cannot find the original Polynian joint set, please feel free to use the Hobby Base Globe Joints. These are what was used when Daibadi still primarily produced garage kit. You'd need two of such sets to replace all joints on a single Polynian if I remember correctly but this should be fine, as the joints are dirt cheap.
