I broke open old star wars toys for my 4 year old son. He's been playing with the vintage Boba Fett and R2D2. I found my Rancor Monster and he's having a blast. I also found a lot of POTF2 figures and he loves them. They're sturdy, easy to play with, and colorful.
All this time I thought POTF2 was an embarrassment, and now I realize they are just perfect for the right kid.
He won't have anything to do with newer articulated figures. They are clumsy and the arms break off. I haven't tried 6" black series yet, but I think he's fine with POTF2 stuff.
Hang on to your junk! It's a lot of fun.
