You're right about the cape being a bit unruly but it's manageable.
As for QC the paint apps are fine on mine from what I can see, only issues I've had is that on the left arm the top ark spike is bent and I think the left leg socket is stuck? On the right left the ball socket moves around with the leg but on the left the leg moved around the socket if that makes sense.
I should be able to fix both of those with some hot water though.
I really do love the figure though despite those things, it makes me want to learn how to pose well.
