As for promo material, in what world do you live in where promo material isn't full of bullshots? Most people on /toy/ prefer actual photosgraphs at conventions, shows, and real world in hand demos over the promotional material.
Almost every promo material is carefully shot to hide the ugly aspects of the toys/food/clothing/models, if not photoshopped, because that's how promo material is for everything. Just look at Revoltech's carefully angled and posed figures, where they try their best to hide the joints, because the actual thing is a gangly clusterfuck.
You're just making it clear how you're just bitching just to troll, because you're pretending no one else does this for everything.
