>>9374349I wasn't disappointed last year, well at least with the /toy/ board, I got exactly what I asked for from /toy/ which was the Dragon Stars World Martial Arts Tournament Stage, and a few figures from the line including one of my favorite characters Frieza.
It was the /a/ board I felt did the bare minimum, the gift wasn't even wrapped and i got a figure from /a/ I already had (my fault for not specifying what figures I had already). But I'm not gonna let it bother me, I get more joy out of spoiling my anon then receiving stuff. I signed up for /a/'s secret santa again this year and the raised the tiers so I'm going the max $150+ tier this year.
If /toy/ ever gets around to getting secret santa set up, I'm definitely doing it again here as well. This board is much more welcoming and civil and I enjoy its company more anyway!
