>>6582173The torso crunch is slippery—no ratchets at all. It wants to push itself back into an arch either forward or backward. The elbows do not rotate—that’s done at the top of the bicep. The ankles do not pivot/rock. The knees are the worst I’ve seen in an American release—a huge gap, single hinge, and they pin into the shin instead of being molded into the shin. So both the knees and elbows look Hasbro-style, but the pins are square so if you tried to rotate them you’d either stop because you realize it won’t go, or you’ll force it and shear off the limb. And that would be easy to do since all of the joints in the limbs are either floppy or extra firm, so there’s no telling what goes where. At least the hips are super sturdy—but what’s the point when the high cut his halfway down the leg interrupting the sculpt? Why do they keep doing this?
It had so much promise. Even the cool-looking Batman piece has more play value and good design in the torso than this entire Grim Reaper. I’ve wanted a figure of this character since I was a shitlord tween when he first debuted and this is the best we’ll ever get. DC Toys are over.
