Plastic quality is okay, kinda soft and flexible. It's not terribly hard to work with, actually kind of nice. The glossy, pearly armour bits look kinda ugh, but nubs are pretty small so easy to clean. Would look much better if gloss coated.
The two halves of the head on mine doesnt seat flush despite modifying the pegs, could just be mine though.
Engineering... well... every joint is so tight, so it'll hold a pose, but holy shit, its scary moving it around. The lower torso, shoulder and waist/leg joints are especially scary to fiddle with because plastic on plastic.
>>5434280 is right about the joints. Articulate as hell, but would you really want to risk it?
I say if you get it, put it in one pose and leave it at that. And maybe it would be worth considering temp/climate fluctuations re plastic degradation.
Overall though, so far it's been basically painless. If you want the wing effects parts, might be better to get in asap.
Is it worth it? Hell yeah, but like any other third party kit, you'll have to do extra work, get your fingers ready (it's gonna hurt), and dont expect BANDAI quality.
