Also, you realize that a lot of countries have their own distributors, right? This is why Euroland wanted to become united with the EU, because trade was difficult between all the different countries.
So while it's easier actually sell the same product, they still are made up of more distributors catering to each country. This also makes it easier for them to take back returns.
Fucking Walmart needs as many distribution centers as it does in the US because of the US's immense size
