>>10184784I have been researching the setting for a year or so and have read a few of the books and TTS just felt like a bunch of confusing in-jokes to me. If anything I feel like it would just confuse a newcomer more than anything. Granted I just kind of popped in to a random episode because a friend of mine is into it but it felt like one of the lesser Adult Swim shitpost cartoons but with 40k characters.
If you enjoy it that is fine but it may work best after for them to get their feet wet with some more substancial stuff first.
