Is there any hope at all for hand brushing with Mr Color lacquers? I'm already neck deep into the Mr Color ecosystem, and while they all work great for airbrushing there have been lots of situations and areas where using one would be too hard for me, so I'd like to just use a hand brush. However, unless I'm painting very small details and parts I absolutely cannot figure out how to get satisfactory results. I even bought a bottle of Mr Color retarder to see if that would help, which it doesn't seem to. I don't know why I even bought all this shit instead of going with Tamiya, other than my local hobby shop having pretty much every color they sell, and struggling to find Tamiya equivalents of what my models were calling for. I could just go buy all duplicate colors, but in Tamiya, but that would be expensive and kind of silly.
Unless I just need to work on my patience and wait a very long time between coats, it always ends up just reactivating and getting pulled up by the brush. Also, I can't get the brush strokes to not show up even with leveling thinner. Worth noting I'm still a complete newfag to all this
Maybe I can should get the more common generic colors from Tamiya? Things like flat/semigloss/regular black.
