Is Lego even a "trendy" thing? Can we really say that the single most popular toy in the world that's been a household name for about half a century, even in the years where it was economically struggling, is just a fad that comes and goes like movie franchises or Beanie Babies? I've never really cared that much about Lego until earlier this year after visiting some MOC exhibits and yet I still had my dose of City, Bionicles and Star Wars sets as a kid, the Danish block formula is pretty much an integral part of most childhoods in America and Europe. It feels weird to say they're just a trend as if Legos are more of a part of pop culture now than they have always been.

Portuguese anon here, I've only seen a single Blurr in my entire lifetime but at the same time every single supermarket has Hot Rod / Triggerhappy / Breakaway / Twinferno being overstocked.

We basically only have Wave 1 understocked for a while, skipped Wave 2 entirely and cannot get out of Wave 3 even after the movie's been out for almost a month. This is how much the distribution of Hasbro sucks around the world.
