The papercraft was made right before Watchmen (the movie) came out in 2009.

The papercraft had nothing to do with the Minutemen comic, but everything to do with the viral stuff for the Watchmen Movie.
And I should know, I'm the one that made it.
I used the art in: the game linked above, the actual webpage it was on, and a fake magazine ad for the arcade cabinet to make it.
I still have the original PS layers files if you want me to dig them up.
