Going to be posting as many as I can remember, but did you ever see a toyline start and almost immediately fail? They didn't even necessarily have to be bad/low quality, some of them are even highly regarded here. Starting off with these hot wheels robot transformer guys, there was even a 3d cartoon tie in I think they were trying to turn into an entire series.
