>>9318023I feel the opposite actually, when I was a kid these 10'' Godzilla figures were my holy grails. We were broke so I couldn't get them unless it was a special occasion and I only ever owned one. I also drooled over the giant '98 figures. when Vinyls started coming over and MonsterArts blew up I was initially taken back by how small they were. I eventually started collecting them but I've flirted with X-plus and man do they hit the spot. I have the Gigantic 74 Mechagodzilla and the way it dominates is incomparable. I also have the Jakks Pacific and while its more of a novelty its just such a fun concept.
The 89 is really tempting to me; X-plus Gigantics are a similar size and price, sometimes more expensive. The only thing keeping me back is that the sculpt looks softer than how crisp X-plus is.
