As someone who only had a couple of Transformers toys back during the G1 days,and is looking into picking up some of the newer toys today (especially the Masterpiece figures), am I misremembering how much did-cast metal was used in the old G1 toys?
I remember those original toys being heavy enough to send someone to the hospital if you used them as a weapon, but I’m surprised to see how even the most expensive new figures these days seem to be 100% plastic.
