The silver was done with Rustoleum silver(buyer beware- they advertise it as being chrome, but it's just flat silver) and coated with Pledge to seal. The Pledge worked, been a week and it hasn't peeled or wrinkled.
Things I want to do
>knock out pin for pelvis, paint that silver
>open body, take out grille and paint sides red
>take apart legs and paint thighs silver
>maybe get a set of gas tanks from a G1 Prime and add them to the knees
>see if I can get the elbow pins out, mask off the hands and paint the forearms red
