I myself prefer diecast ratchets to ball joints but overall if you are careful handling them they will loosen up slower (this does not apply to all toys of course.) For example I have a lot of toys with many types of diecast joints. None of my toys have super floppy joints and I handle them pretty frequently. My SRC Alteisen Nachts joints are almost as tight as the day I opened it and almost none of those joints are ratchets. I also have the frontier VF-25 and YF-29 renewals and the hips are a tiny bit loose but still hols poses just fine even after messing with them. It does happen but there is a lot of hyperbole about Diecast in joints.
