I cut some blue cellophane into the shape of the large insectoid wings, then taped mixel joints to it were fingers would normally be.
Then I tried printing this over a transparent sheet to cut and paste as decals. Now the issue is your. Mine was a bit transparent and worked fine on white opaque bricks, but not so on transparent ones.
So I had to paste a wing, use corrector fluid over the pattern in the underside, and then paste the mirrored decal there. It was easy except for the wiring. I'm just starting so I'm experimenting on methods, maybe using a thinner pencil, or go erasing around the sides with an alcohol soaked or dry toothpick or needle.
Maybe the file should be modified?
