Personally. I’ve accumulated a huge pile. I have 2 boys, so they provide nice cover for the main line stuff. But at this point they are aged out of mostly. So In storage out of the way is the marvel 3.75, Star Wars vehicles, and marvel 6 inch figures. I’ve considered selling them. But I’d honestly I’d rather have them in a box then whatever money I could get out of them. I’m sure i feel that way because I don’t need the money. I also figure in 20 years when I stumble over them I’ll remember the kids when they where younger and those feels are worth more then gold.
What I have out on display is my various transformer collections. It gets looks and comments sometimes. Doesn’t bother me because I know how much I smile at it when I look at it all. I guesstimate my tf collection to have cost me around 14 thousand dollars in total. If I hadn’t spent the money on it, I’m sure I’d have 7k in some other kinds of crap my wife would have bought and 7k more in the bank. I prefer my cases of 3p Mp crack
