The annual Summoner Hierarchy International Tournament is starting in a few months and Cardcaptor Sakura wants to enlist her growing team this time. In the outskirts of town, she spars with Ben Tennyson and Leonardo in hopes of qualifying, but they end up toe-to-toe with Mewtwo and Akuma. The two Emissaries of Evil are shown wielding the stolen Chaos Crystal of Fire and proceed with their ambush. Luckily, Leo is able to summon the Crystal of Water as a perfect counter, but unfortunately the villains are vastly adept with the use of their own Crystal.
