They are overpriced like f****, but here is considered a rich man hobby, 250-300€ for a nice engine is normal.
So i buy from flea markets, train modellers are binary beings, some of them turn on the oscilloscope and replicate and reprogram the digital signals or reengineer all mechanical parts from an engine and others want only to put them on the tracks and push a button, if it stops working they sell them, even if is only a faulty cable, good for me i guess.
