I was thinking about what plastic I could use as an example of what the Astray plastic feels like, and I thought that the Astray plastic kinda resembled the plastic used for the Sphero BB-8 toy. I looked up the materials used for the Sphero and... it's polycarbonate, haha.
I'm still not entirely sure if the Astrays use polycarbonate or not, but I can give a firm "maybe!" Any tips on what I can look for to try to determine the plastic type with more certainty? Here's a close pic of Blue Frame to see if that helps you garner any info.
