After I found a stable shape I went to push the system, moving swapping out my 9kg spring with the stock 2.5 spring and fully charging the Lipo to 16.8 volts, but the run away came back. Now even though I was using a SPDT switch, I initially decided against putting motor braking in cause I tried it out by shorting the wires in a donor Stampede gearbox and did not like how strong the shock of the brake looked. It's in now by having wired the normally closed to the positive motor terminal. I had to settle for some donor Stampede wire for the brake. I would have liked shittier wire to increase resistance and therefore decrease braking strength (not sure if the science behind this is correct) but maybe I'll put in an LED later and get some muzzle flash.
