>>8418234Using figma Blazer Body Emily (
https://www.goodsmile.info/en/product/8827/figma+Blazer+Body+Emily.html) as reference, she costs around $50 (after shipping) which is fully painted and comes with a school bag, interchangeable waist, 2 faceplates, 3 pairs of hands (I think), and a stand. She's a recent release so it's a good basis for basic figma school girl.
On the other hand, Madoka Yuki comes with 6 pairs of hands, 3 hair styles, 4 faceplates, and 3 skirts. Shes also a bit bigger than figmas and MDs with a height of 155m. Based on the unpainted promo pics, the color separation is really good and the unpainted details are very minor.
I think the price would be justified if it looks good as the unpainted promo pics. The line offers a bigger possibility of customization over figmas and it's not like another manufacturer is putting out school girl plamo (please correct me if I'm wrong) so they can dictate the price. I don't think this line would be ideal for army building, with the level of detail they put in the kit, the price would be too high. If this line ends up successful, they might put out a school girl 30MM line.
>>8418241According to the info page (
http://en.kotobukiya.co.jp/product/product-0000003857/) the figure uses the following: PS・ABS・POM・PVC (Phthalate-free). I'm not really familiar with the materials but are any of them soft plastics by any chance? It would be great to have flexible, textured hair and skirts.
