>>101577871/72 is better if you plan to build a lot, not good if you have shaky hands or just don't like small parts in general. 1/48 is somewhat easier to work with because of the large scale but its more expensive, especially if you want aftermarket shit, and of course the biggest downside is they take up a lot of room depending on what you want to build.
Honestly I'd go with 1/48 if you want WW2 shit or below, for anything else 1/72 is better since most jets are massive.
