I don't get why anyone is surprised, shocked, offended or didn't immediately notice or expect Overwatch to be a ripoff/reference fest. It's Blizzard's whole modus operandi. Even Warcraft was originally supposed to be a Warhammer game until GW got cold feet and called it off.
Overwatch is just a mashup of TF2 and generic MOBA games clogged full of concepts from all over the place.
