Bandai doesn't have good sculpts, so relying on printing what is essentially a low resolution photo to fake those details looks worse.
Hasbro has a good sculpt, so it doesn't need to use a lot of paint to look impressive.
The art world is full of unpainted and poorly painted statues that wow people all the time, yet you think I'm lying or being biased even though there's hundreds of thousands of adult collectors being impressed by Hasbro's Black Series figures despite average paint jobs?
