>>7183223>This is 100% not a thing. People "started caring" about Marvel because companies started giving us options that aren't just poorly articulated and painted junk from Happy Meals. There's little argument between "fanboys" of SHF, Revol, Figma, Mafex and whatever else, you just perceive this as "East vs West" because you're a massive fanboy yourself. It's really just quality vs shit and you happen to be on the shit side.Like I've said, this shit has been around since Revoltech Vs Figma. It's not strickly some east vs west thing.
Marvel threads had coexisted with companies like NECA, Mezco, Diamond, and even Hot Toys/Sideshow making figures.
Same is true with Mezco, NECA, and McFarlane sharing various licenses, without any shitstorming.
Then there's the GI Joe thread which has become a catchall thread for all 1:18 figures. Lots of eastern figures are posted there too, with Acid Rain, skeletons, and those little girl things. They coexist pretty well.
See how it isn't an east or west thing? Can you guess which brands have the biggest shitstorms if you criticise their figures? I'll give you a hint: they all have their own generals.
What have been the biggest offenders so far in your shitstorms? Figuarts Iron Man. Revoltech Psylocke. Revoltech Spider-Man.
You guys never stop despite your eventual admissions to having the same problems people criticized these figures that made oyu guys start shitstorms over.
If you don't like criticism, stick to your circlejerks and leave the rest of /toy/ in peace.
/toy/ would be better off without these circlejerks though, so you can't concentrate all your stupidity and bias, creating your false belief that your toys are above reproach.
