It's not that the sequel trilogy sucked ass, it's that the sequel trilogy had incredibly talented artists and designers who made alot of cool looking shit in service of one of the most pointless wastes of time in decades. Like now I look at First Order troopers and am just mildly irritated, but when we first got a look at them, they looked sick as shit. A new line of troopers with their own look who had shit like a SAW with a deployable monopod instead of a blaster? That's sick. Shame that who fucking cares anymore.
It just makes me hope for more shit like Fallen Order where they utilize the good bits of the disney era. Only thing since they got the license that actually feels like it was made in the previous era. Has the same level of respect to the material that stuff like the Katarn games or Shadows.
