Prime failing has nothing to do with the quality and entirely to do with the fact that it cost a shitton of money and was on a failing network and Hasbro was wishywashy with the toyline.
RiD's toys might've been worse but they were on a big network AND streaming while the toys were still new, and the toyline was bigger and more kid friendly since Hasbro execs just straight up said they were simplified for kids so they could sell Classics/Generations versions in 10 years.
