>>10552422it was too expensive for what was provided and didn't justify it with better tiers. Wasn't one of the tiers a figure that was already released and another a figure that was going to be released later?
>>10552545>but it was gonn be pretty damn bigI really hate giving praise to Mattel over anything, especially after how they handled their most recent crowdfund with the Hammond Collection Gates, but with its arms stretched the Rancor is still almost 2 inches shorter than the Hammond Collection Brachiosaurus which sells at retail for around 90 bucks and has 23 points of articulation. Yeah, the Brach has half as many points of articulation, but there's no way that justifies the asking price or locking it behind a crowdfund. There's absolutely no way the HC can sell the Brach and the Rex at retail for 90 and 50 bucks respectively while Hasbro had to crowdfund the Rancor for $350. There are so many more Star Wars toy collectors than JP toy collectors that a $100 or even $150 mass-produced Rancor would have flown off the shelves.
