I like both versions, and I kind of picture that he changes outfits depending on what’s needed at the time. I could picture him keeping both his goggles and his visor on his person at a time.
Like, maybe the visor is more protective, so it could be for up close combat, and his goggles would be for more long-ranged or specialized combat, like night vision, thermal vision, chemical detection/analysis, or to simply block sun from his eyes (and flashbang protection), and for paragliding/wingsuiting.
That’s kind of what I thought/think.
But also, it depends on how the visor or goggles look in whatever iteration it is. Sometimes the goggles might be modeled/drawn in a sort of goofy way, and sometimes it’s the visor.
