Lego has gone from a fun simplistic toy that can be easily used to make fun and imaginative things to just being a tool for people who want to make scale models but are too incompetent/lazy to do so. They clamor for more and more tiny and detailed pieces and realistic prints which to me ruins the appeal of lego. Once it gets too complicated it's just ugly and weird.
