Nah, this short "story" was a comprehensive test using these ~5" Walking Dead figures with my ~5.5" SH Figuarts. Without giving away the scale difference, I wanted to see if I could capture
>Being attacked by monsters>Attacking SHFs>Standing idly by>Being rescued>Carrying prolonged interactions in a longer photoshootAnd transforming as a recent idea. As primarily a Kamen Rider fan, it was thrilling to replicate a transformation eveb if the characters didn't match and poses couldn't be exactly 1:1. I now want civillian Rider SHFs even more.
I'm no fan of TWD. I can't even remember the girl's name. However, seeing them presented me with the idea of having generic civillians to expand my ideas. Too tempting not to try.
I'd say the shoot went really well. Despite the necessary extra effort, it was really fun. It was like a babby version of Godzilla scale manipulation, which I always admired. Having civillains around also really accentuates super heroes and villains is a way that heroes and villain can't do with each other. Heroes look powerful and villains look intimidating. Lovely. If McFarlane made these things .5" larger and didn't mass produce them with the shittiest warped feet I have seen collectively in any toyline, I'd be a regular customer instead of a guy buying them sparingly on chump change.
