You do have a point that figma will do only 2-3 characters and they will only do the popular ones, but atleast it will still be a high quality 1/12 scale figure which I and some collectors prefers. You also forgot that besides the almost no accessories, they will make an effect part/faces/whatever important accessory hostage as a "bonus" item on their online shop.
The S.H. Figuarts line is good but sometime Bandai it gives the certain lines the short end of the stick, the early Dragonball and Naruto line were mediocre at best, they only put effort on those lines when fans were buying them so I'm hoping that Bandai goes all out on the line so that there might be a chance for other characters to be made(Cammy, Juri, Karin, etc.) and consider visiting other fighting game series like Soul Calibur, Tekken, KoF, Garou, Samurai Shodown, Last Blade(Hibiki is day 1 preorder), etc.
