>>8320028let me describe the regions more in depth now:
"Onu-Wahi: the breadbasket of the island. The mines here extract abundant organic protodermis, more than they can consume. The Holdfasts here usually include some combination of above and underground structures.
Po-Wahi: the vast desert region, home to builders and architectural craftsmen.
Ga-Wahi: The best at naval mechanics, their Lord's home of Ga-Koro is a floating fortress. Their vassals are a combination of keeps along rivers, coasts, and some even floating in the ocean themselves.
Ta-Wahi: a half-scorched region that struggles to feed itself. What they lack in natural resources they make up for in perhaps the strongest military power in the world.
Kini-Wahi: The smaller, central region that governs all the rest. Led by (probably the GM) a reclusive King who is less interactive with the realm with each passing year.
Ko-Wahi: the frozen, mountainous region, home to many tribal clans surrounding the main noble Houses' keeps. Reclusive, except for when they must trade to offset their own food deficit.
Le-Wahi: Another abundant food region, and great hunters and rahi-tamers. The jungle is its own natural defense, and any invasion would surely see harsh guerrilla warfare.
Finger Isles: the most independent of the King's vassals, these rocky, harsh lands have become home to more of the unruly citizens of the old universe. Their Lord is either ineffective in controlling their subjects, or simply doesn't care, or perhaps secretly encouraging of them.
Kumu-Islets: home to the pirates and the scum of the world. Every time their operations are smashed, more villains seem to take root in their place.
Voya-Nui: needs to be fleshed out but culturally, they worship Tren Krom, not Mata-Nui. Tren Krom was tapped into as a power source for the dying GSR, and through him the robot still barely clings to some form of life.
