I found the light weight of the figure to be a non issue myself, its not a light because it's cheap or anything. I haven't had any trouble doing poses with him, but I suppose if you have him doing something acrobatic in a display you would want a stand (which he has a port on his butt for).
For $20 it should easily be worth it, that's about the average price for a mainline hastak figure and at that level he can totally compete assuming KBB's plastic isn't shit
