I'm so frustrated. These are definitely not going to feel worth $100 each. But they look so fucking good, and the FFVII artwork was the last thing I cared about in this franchise. They got their hooks in me.

I can't stop thinking about how simultaneously joyful and infuriating it's going to be to unbox Red XIII and realize I paid $100 for something so skinny and simplistic. It looks like maybe a $40 toy at BEST.

Today I realized that with Hobbysearch having to take down all their Bandai kit listings (due to the recent scalper drama), we lost a huge resource for photos of sprues and instruction scans. They had a lot of kits that dalong did not cover, and were an invaluable resource that I referenced many times over the years. And now it's all gone. Fuck Bandai.

Transformers toys have a natural ebb and flow. The bad and good keep their balance in turn. And after the generally great turnout of the WFC Trilogy, it appears we're heading into another bad patch for a while. This shit almost all looks awful, just like the first Legacy wave. Blitzwing and Tarantulas are the only ones I'd consider buying, and Blitzwing is already on thin ice due to his shit-ass altmodes.
