I'd guess they'll keep faction membership the same. When Skeletor gets kicked off the throne, the circumstances could be plotted such that guards who become Two-Bad stick to him.
In like the first episode, Mer-Man and Avion were name dropped as allies Randor could call and didn't. So we could also get a Friendly Mer-Man who gets buttered up by Skeletor during his kingship.
I appreciate this pacing. 200X threw 20 characters at us in the first episode and I think this works better.

I skipped Duncan and Beast Man from Wave 1 because I don't like the featureless shoe feet on the BM mold or Duncan's backstab-friendly armor. I have Donkey Kong Beast Man and multiple of the Royal Guard/1982 Man-At-Arms preordered instead.
Ended up buying all of Wave 2.
Wave 3: have both Battle Armor figures, ordered Castle Grayskull from Amazon, desperately want Roboto. Some version of She-Ra is a must-have, but this one is a pain in the ass as a scalper exclusive with a running change to her face and the bad knees.
Wave 4: Rammy, Champ, Ninjor, Landshark.
Wave 5: LoP Mer-Man, Buzz-Saw Hordak, Rise of Evil. Cannot find the Wind Raider.
Wave 6: Donkey Kong Beast Man, some Royal Guards and Mosquitor on preorder. Really want to find Stinkor.

I feel no need to be a completionist because I was already doing that with Mega Construx (just missing scalper-exclusive Battle Bones from 2019).
