>>7320975I definitely agree its something that's entirely variable on the individual, and that things like passion help with drive and commitment to bettering yourself at a craft.
Some people just pick things up faster than others, I'm one of those people who prefers doing my own stuff in the hobby so I do my own faceups and its taken me a few years to get my faceups to a level where Id be comfy painting for other people. Some people get started in a few months which is cool for them!
Things like this are so variable that the only way to see is to just dive in and give it a go. I definitely encourage anon to TRY.
You can get started cheaply, then invest in better materials if you like the craft.
Check out dollightful as well, she does MH customs but most of the skills are transferrable.
IN OTHER BUT SOMEHOW RELATED NEWS, I got my flying pig a few days ago, and I'm keen to paint him but have no flippen idea what type of blushing I wanna give the little guy. I'm actually super inspired by the artists original works but have never used tattoos on dolls and am wondering if sealing them will diminish the "gold" effect?
Anyone have experience with these sorts of shiny tats on their dolls?
