>>8006090>I think Ridley's really just a completely out of touch old man who doesn't understand his own workI think that's pretty safe to say in the wake of the absolute shitshow prequel that was Prometheus. Most directors only live long enough to become the villain. Same thing happened to Spielberg and Lucas.
>Deckard is a humanDid he come out and firmly state that he was a replicant? I know there are hints that it might be true in the director's cut, but to me, the whole point of introducing the speculation is the speculation in itself; that human arrogance assumes that we are the only sentient beings, but the fact that there might be enough evidence to question whether we even know what we are is the real talking point and is more in line with the themes of the movie and the original book. Actually coming out and stating he's a replicant completely cheapens the whole message.
More on-topic, if Transformers are going to come to Earth, they should do more futuristic/dystopian settings. A Blade Runner/Transformers crossover would be neat. Especially for humans to find out that the first sentient life they come across in the universe besides them is mechanical. Pic unrelated.
